Library Programs

Revised April 2007

Lisle Library District is committed to providing quality programs for the entire community and all age groups.  The Public Relations department provides a diverse offering of literary, cultural, and educational programs designed to appeal to a broad range of adult interests.

The Youth Services staff provide story times, educational and recreational presentations, crafts, drama, and reading programs for children from birth through eighth grade, as well as those who work with them.

In addition, the Friends of the Lisle Library District present musical concerts and travel programs.

All programs are free to the public and held in Meeting Room/s A/B unless otherwise indicated.

Although Lisle Library does not limit program attendance to cardholders, most programs (except Friends) do require registration. Anyone can register for all programs from the Library's website.

The online calendar program allows users to view upcoming programs and meetings, register online, email the event to a friend, download the event to a personal calendar, or print the event information.

Registrations are also taken by calling 630-971-1675 or visiting the Library in person.

Any questions, contact Rhonda Snelson, Public Relations Coordinator: 630-971-1675 x102
