This week we will highlight some of the great African American authors and illustrators with crafts and projects based on their books.

Monday, February 20 and Tuesday, February 21, 4 - 5 p.m.
We will celebrate the great works of African American engineers with projects based on their accomplishments.
Harriet Tubman: A Historical Portrayal
Thursday, February 23, 7 - 8 p.m.
Harriet Tubman was an abolitionist, civil rights activist, and humanitarian. Now, get to see her at the Lisle Library District. Join Pamela Welcome, who has performed in numerous diverse theatrical productions, as she delivers a compelling portrayal of Harriett Tubman, who led hundreds of slaves to their freedom on the Underground Railroad.
