A pretty interesting quote from Terry Pratchett

I saw that Terry Pratchett was in the "By the Book" part of the new Book section in the New York Times.   If you click on that link, you may read the whole thing.   But this caught my eye, so I thought I'd share it:

What makes for a good fantasy novel?

The kind that isn’t fantastic. It’s just creating a new reality. Really, a good fantasy is just a mirror of our own world, but one whose reflection is subtly distorted.
