Sad news about author Maya Angelou

I'm sad to post that poet/author Maya Angelou has passed away. Our group will be discussing I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings in June.

Thanks for bringing this up, Jen. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news - it seemed like such a coincidence with our upcoming book choice. I am so sad that Angelou has passed on. She was 86 and had led a very full and exciting life. May she rest in peace.
