But what do we know about love?

As I was reading this book, I had an expectation. I thought the author would address the sexual misconduct allegations brought against him in the past. He didn’t talk about anything like that (the book came out before the scandal), but it did surprise me, and the group. It had real research and statistics behind it. It wasn’t just a mishmash of his stage act. It was about how people find love. He talks a little about his parents, who had an arranged marriage and are still going strong 35 years later. Their journey was much different than what most of us experience. Modern men and women have so many tools at their disposal: dating websites, our smart phones, emojis. We’ve gone beyond marrying the girl or guy next door. Does finding love need the assistance of a research project (with the help of sociologist)? It looks like some, if not many people need help. Maybe if they read this book first, they will be smarter about who they choose?
