Teacher Services

Lisle Library is dedicated to assisting the teachers in our community. The following services are specially designed to help teachers introduce their students to the invaluable resources that the library has to offer.

Teacher Collections

If you are discussing a topic or theme and need additional resources for use in the classroom, simply complete the Teacher Collection Form and our staff will gather materials that relate to your unit and have them ready for you to pick up at the library. If you have requested a Teacher Collection and haven't received a response from us, feel free to give us a call! Once in a while, requests don't make it through our email systems.

Classroom Visits

We would love to introduce your children to everything that the library has to offer. Our special classroom visits include a developmentally appropriate storytime and a tour of the entire library that includes behind the scenes areas that they wouldn't normally get to see. If you would like to arrange a classroom visit, please contact Will Savage, Youth Services Director, at savagew@lislelibrary.org.

Professional Resources

We have a rich collection of books and resources to aid teachers in the classroom and beyond. If there is a resource you'd like but can not find it in our collection, please contact our Director of Youth Services, Will Savage, at savagew@lislelibrary.org
