Home Delivery

Our mission is to be sure that every Home Delivery Service adult patron is served and receives the same exemplary service that our in-house adult patrons receive.

Those wanting Home Delivery Service must:

  • Reside in the Lisle Library District
  • Own (or acquire) a valid Lisle Library card
  • Be unable to get to the Library due to disability or situation which prevents visiting in person for an extended period of time

Materials Available

Home Delivery Service patrons may receive books, audio CDs, older feature films and nonfiction DVDs, magazines (not current month) and music CDs for two weeks. Materials may be renewed as long as there are no holds for the item.

Schedule and Delivery Requests

Currently, books are delivered and picked up by volunteers every other Wednesday. To request service, contact Winona Patterson at (630) 971-1675 or pattersonw@lislelibrary.org.

Want to Volunteer?

Our volunteers deliver books and other materials to library patrons who cannot physically visit the library. We deliver every other Wednesday from 2-4 pm, all year long. Our volunteers are friendly, active members of our community who appreciate this essential library service we provide our patrons.
