A Spoonful of Murder by Connie Archer
Review: Light murder mystery (first in a series) that will keep your interest throughout the entire book.

Still Alice by Lisa Genova
Review: This book was wonderful! It left me feeling sad at the end. I don't think it meant to (maybe) but that's how I felt. Beautifully written, except for, some of the times, it caused me to have to re-read some paragraphs because of what
I thought was taking place. I have to admit that there were distractions though so that may have been part of the problem.

The story is a quick-read only because it's so good and interesting. A "roller coaster" of emotions (pardon the overused cliche)throughout the book.    One example was Alice entering her classroom (I won't add anything else) and I was so embarrassed for her. The other example was of a meeting that she attended at Harvard after the announcement was made of her illness. Again, a mixture of embarrassment, sadness and validation (can't say more). I haven't seen the movie so I'm not sure if it follows the book, however, I can say that this book was a gem. If the screenplay was written exactly like the
book, then that makes it all the better. Put this book on your "must read" list.

Wreckage by Emily Bleeker
Review: Although it was predictable once I hit the middle I couldn't put it down.  Marooned after a plane crash strangers form a connection that is hard to break after they are rescued.

The Good Guy by Dean Koontz
Review: During my road trip, I wanted an interesting audiobook that would keep me awake and I found it in this. I use to be a really big Dean Koontz fan, but like the rest of his readers, I stopped because his books had started to read all the same. I decided to give him another chance and I'm glad I did. This audiobook was really fun, exciting and humorous when it needed to be.  Cleverly written I have to add. I found myself talking back to the story as well. The plot/storyline was very interesting.  It reminded me of another story by Stephen White called, "Kill Me."  The beginning of the story catches you and it's a good ride from there. Only thing is, I wish it would have ended differently since the story was so much fun and thrilling (I won't say anymore).  If you decide to read or listen to story, you will not be disappointed.
