Summer Read Reviews

Today's reviews:

Affairs of Steak by Julie Hyzy
Review: This book is part of a series.  It focuses on a White House chef. The personalities are more important than the mystery.  It is a fast read.  It is entertaining and informative regarding White House affairs.

A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway
Review: This was a wonderful non-fiction book by Hemingway about his years in 1920s Paris.  Clear, concise, surprisingly funny - Hemingway makes some great and heartfelt observations about life and humanity.  Arguably his best work, although unfinished and published posthumously.  I highly recommend the Restored Edition as the best version of this book.
