Empire of Ivory by Noami Novik
Review: The story of Temeraire continues. This book has a sad ending. Very riveting. I love this series.
Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee
Review: To Kill Mockingbird has been one of my all-time favorite books for many years. I have also read The Mockingbird Next Door, but I was deeply disappointed in Go Set a Watchman. I think the people managing Harper Lee's life these days are exploiting an old lady. This book should never been published.
The Seventh Mother by Sherri Wood Emmons
Review: Entertaining story of a young girl living with her single father and his various girlfriends. The ending was predictable, but on the whole it was worth reading.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Review: Good story about a young woman who must accept a job working with a former playboy who had suffered a debilitating injury which had left him partially paralyzed. They develop a bond despite very different backgrounds. Worth the read.
A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler
Review: Like most of Anne Tyler's characters, the Whitshank family are quirky. I enjoyed the story - sometimes amusing and sometimes sad. The family members are very different people. A good story.
