Sgt. Reckless: America’s War Horse by Robin Hutton
Review: Nice read about a Korean warhorse turned American Marine during the Korean War. Her bravery during enemy fire earned her several military decorations, including 2 purple hearts, as well as rank promotions. Follow her story and the story of the author's quest to have a statue commissioned in her memory. Recommended for horse enthusiasts.

Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn
Review: I was excited to read this novel starring my favorite Star Wars characters, Han Solo and Chewbacca. However, I didn't enjoy this Star Wars novel as much as others I've read over the years. I found the pace slow, with very little "real" action and character development. Too many "main" characters, which led to too many subplots and backstories needed telling. Basically, a re-telling of Ocean's Eleven, but in a sci-fi setting. Disappointing.
Every Fifteen Minutes by Lisa Scottoline
Review: Suspenseful and kept my interest. Listened to this on audio and enjoyed the narrator also.
