Join us on Thursday, April 25th @ 7:00 p.m. in Meeting Room B, for our discussion on "The Day I Died" by Lori Rader-Day.
About Our Group
Welcome to the blog for Murder Among Friends (MAF), the mystery book discussion group at Lisle Library.
First, some background on our group.
We normally meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Each August members meet specifically to pick out the books we will discuss together for the following year. Members' selections cover the gamut of mystery sub-genres: police procedurals, traditional, private eyes, thrillers, and romantic suspense among them. Sometimes we have been lucky enough to have the books’ authors either call in to join the discussion — or even come to the library! So trot your gumshoes over to the Lisle Library and meet a wonderful group of like-minded mystery readers!
Now for this blog…
This is our online home for information on our current and past book discussions, links for mystery readers and mystery conferences, author news and interviews, and anything else of a mysterious nature the group wants to see posted here. It is intended to be your one-stop shop for all things mystery!
If you have read any of the books on this blog, or would like to comment on any of our content, please do so! Comments that are appropriate and content-related are appreciated.
