This month we visit the “beautiful, crime-ridden town of Acker's Gap in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains when we read and discuss A Killing in the Hills by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Julia Keller.  It is the author’s debut novel, and it introduces us to prosecuting attorney Bell Elkins.
